EOI Tests have been abolished!

eoi-test-examThe Oklahoma Department of Education has voted to abolish the Oklahoma EOI’s (End-of-Instuction) tests. The bill will remove the requirement for the end-of-instruction tests, which would no longer be required for high school graduation. The bill will also make 2016-2017 a transitional year with no tests. Furthermore, students will come back for the 2017-2018 school year with a new assessment. “This bill will result in more classroom time for our teachers to teach and students to learn,” said Hickman, R-Fairview. “It balances classroom time with accountability to ensure the billions of dollars Oklahoma taxpayers invest each year in our public schools is being used to improve the quality of education for our children.”
