OKLAHOMA CITY – Investigators continue to search for the gun used in the shooting death of Logan County Sheriff’s deputy David Wade, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation reports.

Wade was killed while serving an eviction notice Tuesday near Mulhall. Nathan Aaron Leforce, 45, of Perry, was arrested in the death.

OSBI Special Agent Marty Wilson was leading a search team Thursday to look for the gun. Search members include OSBI special agents, Logan County Sheriff’s deputies, Payne County Sheriff’s deputies, Cashion police officers, Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms agents and Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers.
