Cleveland County Carnival

On September 7 through the 10th 2017 the annual Cleveland County Fair in Norman will offer three days of non-stop family fun and it is free! Come to this traditional county fair to see everything from goat roping to carnival rides. Enjoy a variety of tasty fair foods, also kick back and listen to endless live entertainment or browse through livestock displays. The Fair will also feature its Celebrity Cow Milking Contest if you have never seen cow milking this might be something interesting for you to see. 4H, FFA (Future Farmers of America) and OHCE (Oklahoma Home and Community Education) will have exhibits and a carnival midway full of fun games for kids and adults. Bring the whole family to Norman’s Cleveland County Free Fair and entertain the kids with a petting zoo filled with a variety of furry and feathered friends, a baby crawling contest. The fair’s popular petting zoo will offer children the opportunity to get up close and personal to goats, miniature donkeys, baby ducks, chickens, pigs and rabbits. The Cleveland County Free Fair will also offer visitors endless home economics displays including baked goods and canning category winners, as well as artistic displays featuring crafts, drawings, sculpture, photography and fabric art. Don’t forget to attend the fair’s much-anticipated horse show to witness a variety of equestrians compete for top honors.
