UPDATE : Hurricane Irma

As of right now, hurricane Irma is on track to pass just north of Puerto Rico later today September 6, 2017.  It is too early to tell whether it will make landfall on the United States mainland, but forecasts show that it could turn toward Florida over the weekend. As of now, it is a Category five, which is the highest possible hurricane on the hurricane scale. It packs winds of about 185 mph, making it one of the most powerful Atlantic storms ever recorded.
