The cold weather is affecting all of us around comanche county. From running trucks longer, to busting ice, to feeding extra. This morning I went out to feed and it was 0 degrees in Paradise Valley this morning by the time I got to elgin, ok. The ice this morning was about 3-4 inches thick in the water trolfs and ponds. We are having to feed 1-2 lbs of feed per cow more because it got colder and the cows need the extra boost of energy and having to put out 3 round bales every other day.
