NationWide Government Shutdown

As of yesterday, January 21, 2018, the government has shut down temporarily to decide the funding issues for this year.

Although no one ever truly wins these types of things, we do understand that some people may have came out more on top than others in this stressful situation. More or less the Congressional Republicans came out on top more so than the Democratic party.

In short, the main issues were just about keeping the government open for a couple of weeks. There’s not exactly a sign they could come to a long term agreement by February 8th (which is the date the lawmakers made for themselves.)

But practically, when we get out of this current shutdown, Congress is at risk for another.
