Owls Vs. Mid-West City
Owls defeated Midwest City 7-0 on Thursday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Braeden Moreland induced a groundout from #7 to finish off the game. Owls got things moving in the second inning. Holden Bartosovsky hit into a fielder’s choice, scoring one run. Owls scored three runs in the sixth inning. Owls batters contributing to the big inning included Jaken Snider and Tj Neidert, all knocking in runs in the inning. A single by #5 in the first inning was a positive for Midwest City. Snider was on the mound for Owls. He lasted six innings, allowing five hits and zero runs while striking out six. #4 got the start for Midwest City. He allowed zero hits and one run over two innings, striking out one. #19 and #3 entered the game as relief, throwing three and a third innings and two-thirds of an inning respectively. Snider, Lance Bianchini, and Braeden Shackleford each collected one hit to lead Owls.
