Jake Meents wasted no opportunities at the plate on Friday, driving in four on three hits to lead Owls past Lawton High 11-1 on Friday. Meents drove in runs on a double in the third and a single in the fourth. Owls got things moving in the first inning, when Jaken Snider tripled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs. Owls scored four runs in the fourth inning. Conner Pennington, Meents, and Holden Bartosovsky powered the big inning with RBIs. Braeden Moreland got the start for Owls. He went four innings, allowing one run on two hits and striking out four. Key Kline got the start for Lawton High . He went three innings, allowing ten runs on seven hits and striking out three. #14 threw one-third of an inning out of the bullpen. Meents went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Owls in hits.
