Owls Can’t Hold Up Against Tuttle

Owls couldn’t keep up with Tuttle and fell 8-1 on Monday. Owls got things started in the first inning. An error scored one run for Owls. Tuttle pulled away for good with four runs in the third inning. In the third Driver singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run, Rutledge doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, an error scored one run for Tuttle, and Tiderman singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run. Beck led things off on the rubber for Tuttle. He allowed three hits and one run over seven innings, striking out five. Jacob Dawson was on the mound for Owls. He allowed 11 hits and seven runs over five innings, striking out four and walking one. Tyler Sweeney threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Jaken SniderTrevor Bianchini, and Kendrick Black each collected one hit to lead Owls. Tuttle racked up 12 hits in the game. DriverRutledge, and Periman all collected multiple hits for Tuttle. Driver went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Tuttle in hits. Periman led Tuttle with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with four stolen bases.
