Owls Clinches Lead In Fourth Inning For Victory Over Lawton High

Owls defeated Lawton High 16-8 on Friday after taking the lead late in the game. Owls trailed 8-7 in the bottom of the fourth inning when Jaken Snider homered on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs. Jonathan Calvert led Owls to victory by driving in five runs. He went 3-for-3 at the plate. Calvertdrove in runs on a double in the third, a single in the fourth, and a single in the fourth. Owls got on the board in the first inning. Snider homered on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs. Owls took the lead for good with 11 runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth K Brombough threw a wild pitch allowing three runs across the plate for OwlsTj Neidert doubled on a 3-1 count, scoring two runs, Conner Pennington singled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run, Trevor Bianchinidoubled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run, and Calvert singled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs. Jacob Dawson was the winning pitcher for Owls. He allowed one hit and one run over three innings, striking out two and walking one.
