Owls watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 4-1 loss to Heritage Hall on Monday. Heritage Hall scored on a single by Blake Adams and a double by Mart Smith in the first inning. Landry Kyle led things off on the hill for Heritage Hall. He allowed five hits and one run over seven innings, striking out four and walking one. Jacob Dawson started the game for Owls. He allowed two hits and two runs over two innings, striking out two and walking zero. Braeden Shackleford and Braeden Moreland entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two innings and two innings respectively. Trevor Bianchini led Owls with two hits in three at bats. Heritage Hall totaled six hits. Adams and Smith all collected multiple hits for Heritage Hall. Heritage Hall didn’t commit a single error in the field. Preston Taylor had the most chances in the field with four.
