Owls wins contest against Poteau, 6-2. In the first inning, Owls got their offense started when Tj Neidert drew a walk, scoring one run. Jaken Snider led things off on the pitcher’s mound for Owls. He allowed five hits and two runs over seven innings, striking out nine and walking one. Bryson Myers started the game for Poteau. He surrendered one run on one hit over two-thirds of an inning. Carson Cheek threw five and a third innings out of the bullpen. Owls scattered nine hits in the game. Kendrick Black, Lance Bianchini, and Holden Bartosovskyall managed multiple hits for Owls. Black led Owls with three hits in four at bats. Poteau saw the ball well today, racking up five hits in the game. Cheek and Jagger Dill all managed multiple hits for Poteau.
