Yoga on the Rooftops


On May 5, 2018, there will be a yoga session held in downtown Oklahoma City on the roof of the Climb Up OKC annex building. It will be from 1030am – 1130am. Drop-in classes cost $12, and Climb UP members will get in free. Sunshine or rain, classes will resume. If inclement weather occurs, there’s a room inside on the 4th floor the class will be moved to. All classes require check in and sign-in at the Climb Up front desk prior to classes. Any ages are welcome, so come out, relax your body while participating in a yoga class on a rooftop. Menace to Society II


On Monday, February 19, 2019, the classic movie, “Menace to Society II”, will be showing at the Tower Theatre in Oklahoma City. The movie is about an 18 year old growing up in the middle of gang filled projects in Los Angeles. Through the support of his girlfriend and one of his school teachers, they help him leave the ghettos for good. But on his journey out, it’s filled with tragic events. Insight to Digital Marketing


On Thursday, February 15, 2018, KSWO will be hosting an insight into digital marketing event. Questions such as “why digital marketing is important to business?” , “why social media plays a role in marketing?” , “why Digital is an asset to your marketing?” , and other questions will be answered at the seminar. Guest speaker will include Dakota Woods. The cost to the event is free. It’ll be hosted in the Great Plains Business Development Center. The seminar will start at 8:30am and will end at 10:30am. Donuts and coffee will be included.

Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Brooklyn Nets


On Tuesday, January 23, 2018, the Oklahoma City Thunder will be playing against the Brooklyn Nets. Brooklyn will be traveling to OKC to face off against the Thunder in the Chesapeake Energy Arena. The Thunder have a 24-20 record and are sitting 5th in the Western Conference standings. The Nets are sitting a little further down in the standings with a 16-28 record and are 13th in the Eastern Conference. Tip off is at 7:00 pm. Tickets range from $15 up to $449 a piece. Come out and support the Oklahoma City Thunder!

Whataburger Night in Norman

On Thursday, January 18,2018  Whataburger customer can show their support for Norman North High School. You can come from 5 to 8 p.m. and order anything off the menu and 20% what Whataburger makes will be given to the Students Performing Unselfish Deeds. In the past 17 years SPUD has raised $1.5 million. The organization supports students, families and other organizations in the community. 36th Annual OKC Home & Garden Show


From January 19-21, 2018 the 36th annual Oklahoma City Home & Garden Show will be at the Oklahoma State Fair Park. Oklahoma City’s largest home and garden show will feature more than 500 exhibitors and experts offering new products, design inspiration and remodeling ideas. The experts that will be at the Garden show will include Clint Harp and Joel Karsten. The price will be $12 at the door, but attendees can receive a $3 discount by buying tickets online Children under 12, retired and active military, police and firefighters all get in free with valid service ID. Devon Ice Rink at Myriad Botanical Gardens


The Devon Ice Rink returns for its 8th year in the Myriad Botanical Gardens in Oklahoma City. The ice rink will be open from January 1, 2018 to January 28, 2018. The rinks open daily, Monday – Thursday 3pm – 9pm, Friday 3pm – 11pm, Saturday 11am – 11pm and Sunday 11am – 7pm. The price is $13 a person including skates , but only $8 for guests who bring their own skates. If you plan on coming in a group of 10 or more is $9 a person including skates.
