Art club is having a field trip to the Philbrook Festival. This includes Lego Village, Art, Philbrook Gardens, Gift shop, Museum Confidential, Lights. The trip will take place on December 16th, 2017. The Philbrook Festival is in Tulsa, Ok. We will leave the school at 9:00 am and be back at the school by 10:00 pm.  It’s free to all art club members 17 and under. If you are not 17 or under it will cost $9. Bring money for two meals lunch, and supper. As well as any snacks you want. Questions contact Mrs. Crittendon at

Elementary Dress Up Days!

Next week (December 18-20 2017) is Elgin Elementary kids dress up week.

The 18th Polar Express is PJ Day! Send your kids to school in their festive Pajamas.

The 19th is Grinch Day! Dress your kids up as the grinch in their evil green or like a who wacky hair and all.

Finally the 20th is the Christmas Party! It will begin at 12:00 and will end at 2:30 where you may take your kids out of class without them missing any of the fun.


Medieval Times Fair

Attention all Drama students!! We will be taking a trip to a Medieval Times fair in Dallas, Texas. The trip will take place on February 23rd, 2017. You will need to turn in $45 and the permission slip signed by your parent and Guardian. We will leave the school at 6am and return at 6-7 pm. Cost is nonrefundable and no late fees will be accepted. Money given will not include breakfast or dinner. Money and form must be turned in by December 15th 2017.

Junie B. Jones Again

Due to an unfortunate insidente involving one of the cast members the Junie B. Jones Jingle bells Batman smells play is being rescheduled. Originally scheduled for December 6th 2017 will be moved until further notice. The new date of the play has yet to be decided. Elgin High Schools drama department still encourages you to come see the show when the date is decided. Our deepest regrets for this inconvenience to you.
