On January 19, 2017 at Stephen County Fair & Expo Center there will be a go kart race. From beginners to seasoned veterans, this spirited competition in southwestern Oklahoma is sure to thrill spectators from across the state. This event will end January 20, 2017. The address is 2002 s 13th street in Duncan OK. Spots are $20.00 if reserved and paid for before January 15, 2017 if not it will be $30.00 at the gate. Lawton Police Department Citizens Police Academy

Starting today on January 4, 2018 the Lawton Police Department Citizen Police Academy is designed to give the public an overview of the police department. The purpose is to create better police-community relations through awareness and training. The CPA will provide the citizen with essential information to help with the understanding of various legal issues, personnel staffing and departmental procedure that police officers face on a daily basis. It starts today at 6:00 pm and will end on March 22, 2018 at 9:00 pm. This event will be held at Police Training Building and the address is 4500 sw lee blvd building 900.

Pictures With Santa

On December 21, 2017 in Anadarko you can get your picture with santa. This event is free to the public. Santa will be there from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. If you want a picture with santa come to Anadarko Community Library. They will be giving each child that walks in a book including a picture with santa. If you get there early they will be playing the movie The Grinch Who Stole Christmas at 2:00pm. If you would like to go, go to Anadarko, OK at 215 w Broadway st.

Live Nativity Scenes

Tomorrow on December 15th, 2017 Central Baptist Church will present live nativity scenes at Elmer Thomas Park throughout the holiday season from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. This event will start December 15th, 2017 and will end Sunday December 17th, 2017. This event is is free to the public so come down to Elmer Thomas Park in Lawton, OK. If you need any information call (580-581-3400) from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm weekdays for additional information.

On December 16, 2017 Clems Cakes will be holding an event. Food and Drinks will be provided at this event. Come ready to have a good time and meet new people!
