Russell Westbrooks record setting 42 triple doubles in the regular season gave the Thunder a playoff spot. As Westbrook and James Harden battle for MVP, the first two games Westbrook is averaging 37 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists. The Rockets are getting plenty from James Harden, who is averaging 31 points, 9 assists and 6 rebounds. Tonight the Thunder will have home game advantage as the Rockets will travel to Oklahoma City. Oklahoma City looks to cut their record to 2-1. Tip off will begin at 8:30 p.m.

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Minnesota Timberwolves

Tomorrow night Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder will travel to Minnesota to face Karl Anthony-Towns and the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Thunder are coming off an 106-105 win over the Denver Nuggets, in which Russell Westbrook beat former triple double record holder, Oscar Robinson in earning the most triple doubles in a season. Robinson, who had 41, was surpassed last night when Russell scored 50 points, snagged 16 rebounds and finished with 10 assists. With only two games left in the regular season, the Thunder are 46-34, and are also 2-0 against the Timberwolves. Westbrook will be looking to close the season out with two more triple doubles to add on to his record. Tip off will be at 8:00 p.m.

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Phoenix Suns


Tonight the Oklahoma City Thunder will travel to Phoenix to play the Suns. The Thunder hold a record of 45-33 and are 6th in the Western Conference, meanwhile, the Suns are 22-57 and are 15th in the same conference. Of the past 5 games Oklahoma City is 3-2 and Phoenix is 0-5. Westbrook looks to break the single season record for having the most triple-doubles, which he is currently tied with Oscar Robinson at 41 this season. The game will be at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix and will also be on NBATV for the ones that will want to watch the game on TV. Tip off will be at 9:00 p.m. central.

With the starting unit including two veterans, Taj Gibson and Russell Westbrook, and the three upcoming talents in the league, center Steven Adams, forward Victor Oladipo and guard Andre Robinson, Oklahoma City looks to dominate the closing nine games of the season.

Tonight the Philadelphia 76ers will be visiting the Oklahoma City Thunder. The game will tip off at 7 p.m. The Thunder are 6th in the Western Conference and Philadelphia is placed in 13th in the Eastern Conference. With a dozen games left in the regular season, Westbrook will be looking to be the 2nd player in NBA history to average a triple-double. With the starting unit having two veterans, Russell Westbrook and Taj Gibson, the Thunder will look to improve their record of 40-30 and clinch a playoff spot.

Portland Trailblazers @ Oklahoma City Thunder


Tonight at 7:00 p.m. the Portland Trailblazers will be visiting the Oklahoma City Thunder. The game will be taking place at the Chesapeake Energy Arena. Westbrook and the Thunder will be pushing to get out of the drought they’ve been in the past couple games. They’ve lost the past 3 games they’ve played. The last meeting these two teams had, the Trailblazers hosted the Thunder and won 109-114. Tonight, Westbrook will be looking to redeem him and his team against Damien Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers.
