Simple tricks to stay safe over spring break.

1.Stay away from heavy traffic areas (such as city centers and beach roads) as there is bound to be more teens on the road.

2.If you are staying somewhere make sure to park in a secure area and have safe place to rest/sleep.

3.Avoid fights as should be obvious, but even provoking a fight can cause you to end up in trouble or even jail in some places.

4.Try to find a buddy to travel and stay with so if something does happen you have some to speak for you.

5.Make sure that all of your credentials are up to date and that your money is secure

Teacher pay raise fails

Pay raise fails once again at state address given by Governor Mary Fallin. Although many schools states have had local bonds pass but the simply pay raise bill just won’t pass. Due to low pay some schools are having a hard time hiring teachers and/or keeping good teachers in classrooms. This will/is effecting students’ grades and futures. Currently schools are urged to be more efficient by spending a larger chuck on classrooms (60%) and less on out of classroom expenses (40%). This means less quality in other parts of schools such as food, school events, and field trips.
